THE LOGISTICS HUBNEW ENERGY FOR THE LIGURIAN TERRITORY

The recent acquisition of the Tirreno Power’s ex-industrial plant, between Vado Ligure and Quiliano, opens up new horizons for Vernazza Autogru.

This area, spread over an area of approximately 300.000 sq, is a new logistics hub for the Liguria region. It also aims to become a national and European base for the reception, preassembly and shipping of metalwork, machinery and large high complexity components.

The space acquired by Vernazza Autogru is used for material warehousing and logistics services – employing Vernazza freight and lifting vehicles.

TRANSPORTATION AND LOGISTICS

The Vernazza Autogru area and the Port of Vado are excellently connected to the main logistics centers in Northern Italy and to overseas areas of interest by motorways and railways.

Vernazza new logistics hub is located near Savona motorway exit. A railway track runs in the middle of the operating center and is connected to the national railway network.

POLO LOGISTICO'S SERVICES

In addition to the storage spaces, within the area a large maintenance center and a workshop will coexist to offer tests, inspections, revisions, a logistics service hub and a certified training center, all of these to create new specialized and qualified figures in the world of lifting; also, the Logistics Center will offer the following services:

– Automated weighing

– Making availability of lattice cranes, telescopic and self-propelled cranes, aerial platforms and forklift trucks to perform various types of lifting

– Miscellaneous handling with spmt modular trolleys

– Skiding and positioning with jacks

– Offering exceptional and non-exceptional transports

– Making availability of temporary marquees for indoor and outdoor activities

– Offering provisional basic fields setup

– Assisting in the design of lifting and transport

– Organizing and performing shipments by sea through Vado Ligure’s terminal

– Programming transports via railway connection which are located in the area and relative connection with the national railway network and Vado Ligure’s port

– Supporting customers in the sourcing of raw materials, in the production and in the subsequent distribution of the final product (supply chain)
